|LUANDA, Angola (AFP): A team of 57 Cuban doctors arrived Saturday in Angola to work in towns and villages on the outskirts of the nation’s capital Luanda, the Angolan news agency reported.
The doctors, specialising in surgery, paediatrics, gynaecology, obsterics and general practice, will be deployed to Cacuaco, Sapu, Zango and Viana in Paunguila municipality on the outskirt of Luanda, the agency said, quoting health officials.
The physicians are in the country under an accord signed between Angola and Cuba, it said.
