Dr Kenny Anthony says the government is not coping well after Sir John’s illness
St Lucians are watching closely what happens as the governing United Workers Party tries to put in place a successor to ailing Prime Minister, Sir John Compton.

The elder statesman has been hospitalised in the United States after suffering a series of strokes.

Opposition Leader, Dr Kenny Anthony, says the country is in limbo with a huge cloud of uncertainty hanging over its future.

Dr Anthony has been telling BBC Caribbean Report that he is not seeking to score political points by questioning the ability of the cabinet to lead the country during Sir John’s illness.
