6:00 a.m. – Body leaves Rambally Funeral Parlour for House of
Parliament.

6:15 a.m. – Body arrives at the House of
Parliament.

8:30 a.m. – Her Excellency, Dame Pearlette
Louisy, Governor General
arrives to pay respects.

8:35 a.m. – Prime Minister Honourable
Stephenson King arrives to pay respects.

8:40 a.m. – Acting Chief Justice,
His Lordship, The Honourable Sir –Brian Alleyne arrives to
pay respects

8:45 a.m. – Former Governors General
arrive to pay respects.

8:50 a.m. – Former Heads of Government
arrive to pay respects.

8:55 a.m. – Cabinet Ministers arrive to pay
respects.

9:00 a.m. – President of the Senate Mrs.
Rosemarie Mathurin arrives to
pay respects.

Speaker of the House of
Assembly arrives to pay
respects.

9:05 a.m. – Leader of the Opposition
arrives to pay respects.

9:10 a.m . – Ambassadors/Resident British
High Commissioner arrives to
pay respects.

9:15 a.m. – Other Members of Parliament-
Former Parliamentarians arrive
to pay respects.

9:35 a.m. – End of Paying of Respects for
Diplomats.

10:00 a.m. – Body leaves House of
Parliament for Micoud.

11:00 a.m. – Body arrives Micoud.

11:10 a.m. – Constituents and the public pay
their respects.

6:00 p.m. – End of paying of respects.
Body leaves Micoud for
Rambally’s Funeral Palour
in Vieux-Fort.

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

6:00 a.m. – Body leaves Rambally Funeral
Palour for Micoud.

7:00 a.m. – Body arrives in Micoud.

7:30 a.m. – Constituents and the public pay
their respects.

3:00 p.m. – End of paying of respects.

3:30 p.m. – Thanksgiving Service

5:00 p.m. – End of Thanksgiving Service

5:30 p.m. – Body leaves Micoud for
Castries

Sunday, September 16th, 2007

6:00 a.m . – Body leaves Rambally’s F
uneral Palour for House of

6:15 a.m. – Body arrives at House of
Parliament.

8:00 a.m. – Permanent Secretaries arrive to
pay respects.

8:30 a.m. – Honorary Consuls arrive to pay
respects.

8:50 a.m . – Public pays respects.

Palour for House of Parliament.

respects.

8:30 a.m . – Special Sitting of the Bar.

(No paying of respects during the Special Sitting of the Bar)

9:45 a.m. – End of Special Sitting.

10:00 a.m. – Public pay respects.

6:00 p.m. – End of paying of respects.

Funeral Palour.

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

6:00 a.m – Body leaves Rambally’s
Funeral Palour for House of
Parliament.

6:15 a.m . – Body arrives at House of
Parliament.

8:00 a.m

to – Paying of Respects by visiting diplomats.
10: 00 a.m.

11:00 a.m. – Public pays respects.

12;00 noon – End of paying of respects.

12:15 p.m. – Ceremonial Parade starts from the Vigie Playing Field onto the John Compton Highway, along the John Compton Highway onto Peynier Street, then right onto Micoud Street, right onto Laborie Street and stops in front of the House of Parliament. Body is escorted out of the House of Parliament (Governor General, Prime Minister and Members of Cabinet and Family joins) and the parade continues left onto Jeremie Street, along Jeremie Street then left onto Bridge Street, along Bridge Street then left onto Micoud Street towards the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.

The Procession will move in the following order:

• Outriders
• Police Band
• Firing Party
• The Hearse/Van
• Pall Bearers-moving alongside hearse/van
• Immediate family of Sir John George Melvin Compton
• Governor General
• Mourners in Uniform
• Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers
• Judiciary
• Other Mourners

1:00 p.m. – Funeral Service begins.
